Membership agreement:
1. This membership entitles you to the use of the gymnasium facilities together with the tennis, basketball and multi-purpose courts for the term of this agreement.
2. Failure to use the facilities does not release the member from their obligation under this agreement.
3. I acknowledge and accept that I am responsible for my own safety and welfare while exercising at this facility. As a member I specifically indemnify and hold harmless Spectrum Recreation and Fitness, it’s management and employees in respect of any event which would otherwise have given rise to action against the facility.
4. I acknowledge that I have been supplied with information detailing the terms and conditions of my membership, in particular policies relating to holding periods, minimum contract terms, cancellations, refunds. I have read this information and agree to these conditions.
5. I acknowledge I must act in an appropriate manner, and abide by the rules, regulations & etiquette of the facility. (A copy of Gym Etiquette is in the membership package) Failure to do so may result in the suspension or forfeiture of the membership.
6. I am aware that I use the Gym equipment and other facilities at my own risk. I am also aware that it is a condition of admission to membership, that this Centre, it’s directors, instructors, members, or agents are absolved from all liability howsoever arising from injury or damage caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising out of membership at this facility or participating in any activity associated with my membership, or in any way whatsoever due to a negligent act, breach of duty, default and / or omission the part of this facility, it’s directors, members or agents.
